They Crucified My Lord

On that day, they crucified

My Lord upon the cross,

With three rusty nails pierced thru His hands.

I heard the hammer's sound

When they crucified my Lord,

His blood washed away all my sins!

Jesus prayed, “Forgive their sins,

For they know not what they do.”

Jesus prayed to God within His tears.

Jesus shed His precious blood

For a wretch like me.

His blood washed away all my sins!

He was mocked, His garments torn,

Casting lots took they His clothes.

Those nails pierced so deep upon the cross.

By the shedding of His blood,

We have our deliverance.

His blood washed away all my sins!

Oh my Lord, accept my soul,

Jesus saved us from all sins.

He bled His last drop of blood for me.

It was then that we were saved,

Justified, freely by grace!
